EEG

from Chaos by Mr Vinyl

about

Having worked with a colleague putting together a live show based around EEG data called 'resounding seizures'. The music here is based around the original first uses of EEG to record the first ever epileptic seizure (Using converted files to audible/usable range).

The EEG data is converted from medical equipment standards 256Hz up to 44.1Khz so it's usuable in a standard DAW - Sounds best on Headphones - The siezure is throughout but you can really hear it at 3:04 if your interested.

There is a tearing sound moving across the stereo field, when monitoring on headphones this has the psychoacoustic effect of moving through the brain, it represents the post-ictal phase of Epilepsy

Credit to Alan Miles for the original concept.
